Marc Alan Scroggs, Sr., age 70, entered eternal rest on Thursday, January 30, 2025, in Alexandria at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital.
Memorial Services will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025, at Gallagher Funeral Home at 4:30 p.m. with the visitation beginning at 3:00 p.m.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Bertha Scroggs, brothers, Frank and Daniel Scroggs, Sr.; and sister, Gladys White.
Those left to cherish his memory include his spoiled Black Lab, Boss; son, Marc Scroggs, Jr.; daughter, Chanda Brossett (Danny); grandchildren, Dalton Scroggs, Allison Brossett, Madeline Scroggs, and Dan Brossett III; great grandchild, Collin Scroggs; brother, Jack F. Scroggs (Lisa); and many friends.
Marc was a beloved father, brother, grandfather, and friend. A man known for his hard work and love of the outdoors. He was a welder for most of his adult life, and he found joy in hunting and fishing with friends and family. He leaves behind a legacy of a hard worker and appreciation for life's simple pleasures.
In Lieu of Flowers donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Cabrini Hospital.

My favorite memory of Uncle Mark is riding in his dune buggy around his house - going fast :) I will never forget how much fun this was.
