Marcella Ann "Marcie" Lassalle

With hearts heavy yet full of love, we announce the passing of Marcella "Marcie" Ann Lassalle, at the age of 54, on October 23, 2025. She grew up in Metairie, Louisiana, went on to have a family, and later in life moved to Georgia. Her love for New Orleans called her home in 2021.

She enjoyed refurbishing furniture, turning it into works of art. She was also an avid thriftier and lifelong pet lover.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marcel August Lassalle and Rita Doughty Lassalle, along with her sister, Pamela J. Lassalle.

Marcie is survived by her sisters, Laurie A. Dragon (Derek) and Cynthia M. Schwer (David), her children, Courtney Werner, Spencer Frame and Madison Marold, two grandchildren Elena Garcia and Dakota Mathis, along with many nieces and nephews.

Marcie touched the lives of all who knew her and her enduring spirit will forever be remembered by those who had the privilege of crossing paths with her. She was known for her sense of humor and her ability to make new friends wherever she went.

Her presence will be deeply missed, but her love and light will remain forever in the hearts of all those who knew her.

May her memory serve as a light of comfort during this time of grief.

Private family services will be held at Garden of Memories Funeral Home in Metairie, Louisiana. We thank you for your support during this difficult time.
