Oskaloosa. Marcia Clark, 75, of Oskaloosa, died Friday, January 3, 2025, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. She was born on March 15, 1949, in Oskaloosa, Iowa, the daughter of Leo Melvin and Betty Jean Knox Clark. She graduated from Oskaloosa High School with the class of 1967. Following graduation, she worked at various places including Working Phones of Iowa in Oskaloosa. She enjoyed working on puzzle books, reality television, murder mystery television, and collecting knick-knacks. She looked forward to Christmas every year and decorating her tree and home for the holidays. She was baptized in the Lutheran faith and looked forward to being with the Lord.
Her family includes her three sons, Jerry (Kathy) Richardson of Oskaloosa, Jason (Tara Sams) Richardson of Richland, and Trevor (Mia) Senclair of Newton; nine grandchildren, Jesse, Andrew, Justin, Tristan, Elise, Adalynn, Dakota, Cameron, and Shelby; three great grandchildren, Cameron, Rylie, and Waylon; a nephew, Craig Clark; and several cousins, including Jim and Shirley Adams, Christine Adams, Marian Adams Sheeley Grim, Carl and Sally Coulette, Carl Knox, Tamra Knox, Michelle Lynn Parsons, and Cindy and Jeff Walraven.
Marcia was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Dennis Clark; and a sister, Doris Bushey.
As was Marcia's wish her body has been cremated and no services are planned. The Bates Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
