Marcia Marie Taranto

Marcia Marie Taranto, 57, of Londonderry, NH passed away November 4, 2025, surrounded by her loving family, at her residence. Marcia was born January 11, 1968, in Medford, MA and was a daughter of George and Judith (Palmer) Gatteny. She was raised and educated in Somerville, MA, she was a graduate of the University of Arizona, with a bachelor's degree. Marcia and her family have been residents of Londonderry for the past 20 years.
She loved to cook and bake and loved to be at the beach, including their trip to Aruba. Marcia's world was her children; she was dedicated to them and to her whole family and many friends.
Members of the family include her loving husband of 28 years, Mark Taranto, her son, Cameron Taranto and daughter, Kylie Taranto. Two brothers, George Gatteny, Jr. of Nashua, NH and Gregory Gatteny of Derry, NH. Nine nieces and nephews, Devon, Lily, Ryan, Alex, Allison, Justin, Kaitlin, Tyler and Sydney, as well as two great nephews, Thomas and Torin.
Calling hours will be held Sunday November 9, 2025, from 4 to 7pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road in Londonderry. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 am in St. Thomas Aquinas Church 26 Crystal Avenue in Derry and burial will be at Pillsbury Cemetery, Hovey Road in Londonderry.
