Margaret M Maciejewski (nee Geoghegan) of Berkeley Heights, NJ passed away on Monday, October 7, 2024 at her residence at the age of 94.
Margaret was born on June 30, 1930 in Elizabeth, NJ. She was the daughter of Anna (nee Ryott) and William Geoghegan. Margaret grew up in Roselle, NJ and graduated from Abraham Clark High School. She was employed at Midlantic Bank as a secretary until retiring in 1995. Margaret was a resident of Linden before moving to Berkley Heights 8 years ago. She loved to crochet and visit the beach. Margaret enjoyed socializing with her family and friends and never missed a party. Above all she was devoted to her faith and family.
Margaret is survived by her loving son, Tom Maciejewski and his wife Maria, her sister, Jane Burke and sister-in-law, Lottie Geoghegan. She was the cherished grandmother of Georgette and her husband Brandon, William and Sofia. She is also survived by her adored great-grandchildren, Alexandra and Jonathan. Margaret was predeceased by her husband Edmund S. Maciejewski and her siblings, William, Anne, Marie, Richard and Honore.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Wednesday, October 9th from 4:30-6:30 PM at Paul Ippolito Berkeley Memorial, 646 Springfield Ave, Berkeley Heights, NJ. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, October 10th at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph the Carpenter Church, 140 3rd Ave, Roselle, NJ (Please meet the family at church). Interment will follow at St. Gertrude's Cemetery, Colonia.

Margaret was my godmother and in 1964 took me to the New York world's fair. She and her husband Ed were close friends with my Parents Leo & Sally Mularz and played cards at our home on the weekends. The World will miss this great Lady!
