Margaret Qualls, age 80, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2025, in Cartersville, Georgia. Born on February 12, 1945, in Canton, Margaret was a beacon of love and kindness to all who knew her.
Margaret's hands were rarely still, as she was a gifted seamstress who could often be found sewing beautiful creations. In her garden, Margaret cultivated an array of flowers and vegetables with a passion that matched her love for sewing.
She enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outside. Family was the cornerstone of Margaret's life. Her selfless love knew no bounds, and she poured her whole heart into creating cherished memories with her loved ones. Her selfless nature shaped the lives of many.
She was truly one of a kind, and her legacy will forever be cherished and celebrated.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Delia Mae Grady and sister, Martha Whitener.
Margaret is survived by her children, Lewis Qualls (Sherry) and Marty Miller (Neal); grandchildren, Charles Qualls, Amanda Choguaj Jacinto, Zeb Vollm(Deanna Oaks), Quinton Vollm (Kristen) and Nathan Gossett; six great-grandchildren; siblings, Mary Ledbetter, Junior Grady, James Grady and JT Grady; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 21, 2025 at the Waleska Church of God of Prophecy with Pastor J.A. Martin officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Sosebee Funeral Home on Friday, June 20th from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. and at the church on Saturday prior to the service from 12 p.m. until the funeral hour.
