Molly L. Qualls, beloved mother, wife, sister and friend, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on August 11, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Born on November 12, 1934, in Purcell, Oklahoma, to Charlie Webster and Irene Croy Webster, Molly grew up with a spirit full of determination and joy. She graduated from Rosedale High School in 1953, where she was a proud member of the basketball team and formed lifelong friendships.
It was during a Rosedale basketball game that Molly met her future husband, Jerry Qualls. They were married on December 24, 1954, and spent 69 wonderful years together, building a life filled with laughter, love, and a shared passion for family. In 1970, they moved to Hurst, Texas, and two years later settled in Colleyville, where they created a warm and welcoming home. She was a wonderful spouse and a very good mother and a wonderful Cook and most of all she was Jerry's very best friend.
Molly pursued her passion for fashion by attending Tarrant County Junior College, majoring in fashion merchandising. She was not only a talented student but also an avid water skier who loved boating and swimming. Her creative spirit flourished through her love of sewing and crocheting, as she crafted beautiful blankets and cherished keepsakes for her family.
As a devoted homemaker, Molly took immense pride in nurturing her only daughter, Karla Qualls. She was the heart of her family, always ensuring that they felt loved and supported. Molly was preceded in death by her son, Eric Lynn Qualls, and her granddaughter, Brittany Conn, who will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Molly is survived by her beloved husband, Jerry Qualls; her daughter, Karla Qualls and Karla husband Frank Holt; her grandson, Brett Wiley; her granddaughter, Brooke Settlemyre; and her great-grandchildren, Kannon Wiley, Landon Aranda, and Laney Aranda. She also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews who will carry her memory forward.
Molly L. Qualls will be remembered not only for her vibrant spirit and creativity but also for the love she shared with her family and friends. Her legacy of kindness, joy, and devotion will endure in the hearts of all who knew her.
Pallbearers include Anthony Aranda, Mark Webster, Frank Holt.
Graveside funeral services will be held Friday, August 15, 2025 at 10:30 am at Mt. Olivet Cemetery officiated by Chris Kidwell. Interment will be at Mt.
