She was born on August 30, 1965, in Piedra Gorda, Ojocaliente, Zacatecas (Mexico) to Ruben Sagredo Rodriguez and Margarita Noriega Reyna.
María married Arnulfo Muro in Glen Rose, raising two children, Elsa and Arnulfo. She worked at Fossil Rim Wildlife Center for almost 30 years, as she enjoyed every moment, from viewing the animals to speaking to the guests. She dedicated most of her time to her granddaughters, which she loved dearly. She shared her passion of cooking, singing and knitting with them. She also loved to garden. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, whether it was staying at home chatting or eating out.
María was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers: Ismael Sagredo Noriega, Marcos Sagredo Noriega, and sisters: Maria del Pilar Sagredo Noriega and Maria Herlinda Sagredo Noriega.
María is survived by her husband, Arnulfo; daughter, Elsa (David); son, Arnulfo (Corinne); and two granddaughters, Janelle and Caridad.
Visitation will be held Monday, June 9, 2025 at the Cristo Roca Viva Church, Granbury, Texas from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM. Service will be held Monday, June 9, 2025 at the Cristo Roca Viva Church, Granbury, Texas starting at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at Squaw Creek Cemetery.
