Marian Elizabeth Cape, 94, of Hampstead, passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at the BridgingLife Dove House.
Born February 21, 1931, in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late Leo Milton and Lola (Smith) Reaver. She was the loving wife of the late Stewart S. Cape.
Marian was a graduate of Westminster High School, Class of 1948. She had multiple careers at Black and Decker, at her family dairy farm, and Random House. In her spare time, she enjoyed doing puzzles, photography, flowers and observing wildlife. Marian was an active member of Church of the Open Door in Westminster.
Surviving Marian are her children Randy S. Cape of Indiana and Connie S. Bock of Hampstead; and sister Merle Kehoe of Texas.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother John Reaver.
The family will welcome friends on Monday, September 8, 2025, from 10 am to 11am at Church of the Open Door, 550 Baltimore Blvd, Westminster, MD. A funeral service will begin at 11am. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at the Riverview Cemetery in Hamilton, Montana.
