Marion L. Blumenschein

Marion Blumenschein of Holly, age 82, passed away on the morning of Thursday, May 11, 2023 at her daughter's home, with her family by her side. Marion was born August 5, 1940 in Unionville, Michigan the daughter of the late Lyle and Geraldine (Nixon) Barrigar. She graduated from Holly High School, marrying her high school sweetheart Warren Edward Blumenschein. Sadly, Warren preceded her in death on April 5, 2007. She was a bus driver for Holly Area schools for over 20 years. Marion and Warren enjoyed many adventures, full of camping trips, road trips and cruises. Above all else, being with her family was her greatest joy. Marion leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Gaynell Blumenschein, Kathy (Douglas) Risi and John Miller; grandchildren, Brittney (Ron), Carmain, Anthony, Sabrina and Rhet; one great- grandchild, Maxwell; siblings, Gary (Colleen) Barrigar, Phyllis Blumenschein (Mike) and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Marion was preceded in death by her parents and husband. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 19, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Dryer Funeral Home in Holly with a burial to follow at Rose Center Cemetery. Marion's family will receive visitors from 10 a.m. until time of service.
