Marisa E. Schuenemann (nee Beckman), of Berlin NJ, age 50, passed away on June 12, 2025. Beloved wife of Robert Schueneman. Loving mother of Gabriella, Nicholas, Rocco and Anthony. Adored daughter of Elaine (nee Camma) and Richard Beckman. Dear sister of Rosemarie Williams and Richard Beckman, II. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and of course her canine and feline babies Meatball, Ravioli, Peanut and Ragu.
Marisa was born on August 24, 1974, in the suburbs of Chicago. Her family moved to Virginia followed by Connecticut and then in 1983 finally made a permanent home in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. She attended Cherry Hill High School East where she made life-long friendships.
Following high school Marisa studied at the University of Delaware where she was an honors student graduating with degrees in Education and Special Education.
After college Marisa enjoyed working as a 1st Grade school teacher alongside her musician and music teacher brother, Richard, at the Evergreen Avenue Elementary School in Woodbury
In 1998 Marisa and Rob met. They fell in love and were wed in 2002. Shortly thereafter, Marisa and Rob welcomed their four children into the world. Marisa retired from teaching to raise her children at their home in Berlin, NJ. Motherhood was the greatest joy of Marisa's life.
Once her children were old enough to attend school, Marisa followed them and returned to teaching at Berlin Community School. There she not only taught and mentored her students, but laughed, cried, and loved her second family the children, teachers, and staff of BCS.
To our beautiful, funny, sweet Marisa, you will always be on our minds and in our hearts. Until we meet again we all love you to the moon and back.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Friday evening June 20, 2025 from 5:00PM to 9:00PM at the COSTANTINO-PRIMO FUNERAL HOME, 231 W. White Horse Pike, Berlin NJ 08009.
There will be NO morning viewing on Saturday. Everyone is invited to meet at 10:45AM for her Mass of Christian burial which will begin promptly at 11:00AM at Church of the Holy Family, 226 Hurffville Rd., Sewell NJ 08080. Entombment will immediately follow in Locustwood Cemetery, 1500 Route 70 West in Cherry Hill NJ.
