Marjorie (Granny) Fleeman went home to be with the Lord on December 23, 2024 at
West Ridge Nursing Home in Knoxville, Iowa. She was born November 2, 1934, on a
farm in Norwood, Iowa to Jesse and Lena (Killen) Marker.
Marjorie was united into marriage to Franklin Fleeman and to this union three children
were born, Bonnie, Donald and Diane. In June 1974, Donald lost his life in a car
accident.
She accepted Christ as her savior at an early age at Norwood Assembly of God Church.
She lived her life for Christ until the Lord took her home.
Left to mourn Marjorie are her daughters, Bonnie Hamilton of Knoxville, Diane Fleeman
of Altoona, Jo Willett of Altoona, her grandchildren, Melissa (Eric) Caviness, Travis
(Merilee) Hamilton, her great-grandchildren, Brock Caviness (Hallie Sidney), Bailey
Caviness (Connor Blair), Eiljah (Jenna) Hamilton, Elaina Hamilton (Zach Steinhausen),
her siblings, Jerry (Sunny) Marker of Johnston, Larry Marker (Judy) of Osceola, Pat
Schnoor of Indianola, son-in-law, Rick (Sharon) Hamilton of Chariton.
Marjorie is preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Lena Marker, her husband Franklin Fleeman, her son, Donald
Fleeman, her siblings, John Bob, Kenneth, Homer, Vera Penick, Doris Pollitt and
Frances Marker. Memorials may be directed to Suncrest Hospice or Assembly of God in
Norwood.
Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 2, 2024, at Fielding Funeral Home in Chariton Iowa. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Interment will be held following the services at Norwood Cemetery in Norwood Iowa. Pastor Brett Hannah will be Officiating the service. Serving as Pallbearers are Eric Caviness, Brock Caviness, Travis Hamilton, Eli Hamilton, Craig Pollitt, Bailey Caviness, Rick Hamilton, Elaina Hamilton
