Margie Wuolle (nee Radtke), devoted Mother, proud Grandmother, and honored 4th generation Great Grandmother, died in her home on Sunday, November 19th, surrounded by those that loved her.
Margie was preceded in death by her parents Marie and John, her brother Robert, her son-in-law John, and Grandchildren Brian and Brett.
Margie is survived by her Daughters Kathleen (Ron) and Linda, Son Rick (Stacy), Grandchildren Kelly (Dean), Chrissy (Todd), Diane (Kevin), Justin (Stephanie) and Great Grandchildren Brandon, McKenzie, Collin, Cole and other beloved family and friends.
Margie was born in Wausau and was a kind and loving soul who faced life with courage and kindness. Anyone she met became a friend for life. Affectionately known as "Grammie or G.G.", she had an infectious smile and a deep appreciation for all the good things that life brought her.
As a child, Margie played the violin and enjoyed ice skating. She loved Big Band music, playing card games, reading and spending time with family. She especially loved Christmas and always took extra time with the gift wrap and ribbons. She will always be known for her famous Chip Dip and her passion for baseball with her fondest memory being able to meet Hank Aaron.
Margie lived in Wisconsin, Washington state and Alaska. One of her favorite experiences included working as a cook on a river barge alongside her Aunt Eunice. They traveled up and down the Yukon River in Alaska delivering goods to all the villages. She enjoyed traveling with friends and family. Some of her favorite trips included Door County, Wisconsin Dells, Hawaii, Elvis's Graceland, Disney World and Niagara Falls. She also enjoyed trips focused around her love for baseball which included MLB parks in Milwaukee, Chicago, San Francisco, Atlanta, and her Great Grandson's baseball tournaments in Cooperstown and Myrtle Beach.
Margie will be remembered for never missing a birthday and was a second Mom and Grandma to countless family and friends. Although she didn't have much to give, she gave everything she had; most often choosing to donate to the Veterans. She was a selfless and loving soul who touched many lives.
A very special thanks to the staff of Serenity Villa and Interfaith Caregivers for loving her like their own and taking exceptional care of her. She made deep and lasting friendships that we are forever grateful for. Thank you to Horizon Hospice for the wonderful end-of-life care and Linda McDonald for the gift of celebration-of-life flowers.
A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, November 28, 2023 from 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm with a short service to follow. Visitors are invited to stay for cake, coffee and conversation. Visitors can honor her by wearing her favorite color of red.

As a newbie Interfaith driver, Marjorie was my very first client. We became fast friends. One day I asked her if she'd consider a ride in my Miata convertible. This spry 98 year old lady grinned and said " I don't see why not!" So we set out on a fine day and she couldn't stop giggling and exclaiming about how awesome it was. We drove over an hour admiring the Fall colors. We slowly passed guests at an outdoor wedding venue and she waved like she was the grand marshal in a parade. We stopped for a break and she showed me her photo album about her time performing with a group who dressed as nuns and entertained nursing home residents. It was simply the best day! Her eyes twinkled when she said that she told anyone who'd listen that she'd been out in the Miata! I am going to miss Marjorie's joyful spirit.
