Mark Bowen passed away on April 30, 2025, at the age of 52. Mark was born on October 01, 1972, in Watertown, Wisconsin. He was the son of Christine Bowen and the late Alex Bowen. He was married to the love of his life, Emily Bowen, for 21 years. After high school, he immediately entered the US Navy where he served for 4 years. He was a dedicated and passionate worker that started as a produce manager for 2 years, and he later went on to have a successful career with Strategy for 25 years.
Mark was an avid bowler, along with going camping with his family, and loved going on cruises. He enjoyed watching his favorite sports teams, the Green Bay Packers, the Washington Capitals, and the Washington Nationals. He loved to use his grill and smoker to cook for his family and friends. Mark liked to read R.A Salvatore, George R.R. Martin, and Terry Goodkind books.
He was a kind, wonderful, and fun-loving husband and father with witty humor. Mark was involved in community-centered activities as he coached in baseball little league and helped junior bowlers. He was a huge supporter of the Heritage HS Marching Band and the University of South Carolina School of Music.
Mark is survived by his children Nathan and Sammi Bowen, and his siblings Thomas Bowen, Brenda Ellis and Donald Bowen.
