Mark Douglas Dougan

Mark Douglas Dougan, 62, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2022. Born on February 18, 1960 in Columbus, OH, he was preceded in death by his mother and father, Riley and Phyllis Dougan. He is survived by a loving wife, Penny Dougan, two daughters, Amy Dougan and Sarah (Chris) Gobble and his brother Michael (Lorinda) Dougan, along with his in-laws and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephew.
Mark had a very successful career as a furniture sales representative for 33 years representing Hooker Furniture and Bradington Young. He was an active member of Northeast Church of Christ, serving as an elder for 15 years and providing friendship and love to all who entered the doors. He had developed a very close bond with many friends and colleagues who he considered like family.
Family was always an important part of Mark's life. He enjoyed watching the Ohio State Buckeyes play football and basketball, generally winning each week in fantasy baseball or football, making perfectly timed quips to erase any tension, and mentoring young adults who will all say they are better because Mark was a part of their lives.
Family will receive friends from 10-12pm, Wednesday October 26, 2022 at Northeast Church of Christ (12020 Southwick Lane, Cincinnati, OH 45241) where a service will follow at 12pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Northeast Church of Christ in his honor
