Obituary published on Legacy.com by Ingram Funeral Home - Marysville on Jun. 12, 2024.
Mark Dee Emans, age 67, of Milford Center passed away unexpectedly, at home, on Friday, June 7, 2024.
Mark was born in Lima, Ohio on November 9, 1956, to the late Charles W. and Maxine (Wagnon) Emans. Mark grew up in Marion, Ohio, and graduated from Marion Harding High School in 1975. After high school, Mark began working at GTE in Marion and later retired from Verizon as a technician.
Mark met Jodi Terry in Marion and the two were married in 1975. Together, Mark and Jodi raised four sons, spent countless hours at the Milford Center Baseball field, and cheered on the Cleveland Browns. Mark could often be found in his garden and canning his yearly harvest. In his free time, he was the first to volunteer as a baseball coach; Mark spent 17 years coaching and had three repeat championships. Enjoying music, Mark loved classic rock and was an avid Rolling Stones fan.
Mark will be missed by his wife, Jodi of Milford Center; sons, Shane Emans, Shaun Emans, Ryan (Andrea) Emans, and Kiel (Rebekh) Emans; grandchildren, Jordan (Daniel) Rowland, Dalton Emans, Devin Emans, Baylee Emans, Kylee Emans, Kaityln Fout, and Devin Smith; great-grandchildren, Alayna Emans and Myles Rowland; and siblings, Charles Emans, Richard Emans, Max (Donna) Emans, Russell (Deeann) Emans, and Pam Hartman.
Visitation for Mark will be held, at Ingram & Snyder Funeral Homes, 975 North Maple Street, Marysville, on Sunday, June 16, 2024, from 2 until 5 pm. A funeral will be held at noon on Monday, at the funeral home, with Celebrant Alycia Orcena officiating. Burial will follow in Milford Center Cemetery.
