Robert E. "Rob" Emans

Robert "Rob" E. Emans, a cherished son, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully at his home on May 16, 2025, at the age of 55. Born on July 11, 1969, in Tecumseh, Michigan, to the late Edwin Emans & Barbara (Tiede) Itter.
Rob was a man of great character who left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew him. Rob grew up in a bustling household, surrounded by the love and camaraderie of his family. He was a beacon of strength and support to his mother, Barbara, his brother, Walter Emans, his two sisters, Janet Shott, and Cindy (Dale) Brookhouse, his half siblings; Larry Emans, Margaret Emans, and Summer (George) Slater. Rob was preceded in death by his father, Edwin, as well as two sisters and two brothers, whose memories he held close to his heart.
A gifted mechanic, Rob was self-employed, dedicating his life to his craft. His work was not just a job but a passion, and his reputation for excellence was well-known in the community. Rob's hands were rarely still, as he was always tinkering, fixing, or improving something. His skills were matched only by his willingness to lend a hand to anyone in need. Rob's selflessness extended beyond his professional life. He volunteered for several years with the Standish Rural Fire District, where his thoughtful and handy nature proved invaluable. His commitment to serving others was a testament to his character, and his presence will be sorely missed by his fellow volunteers and those he helped in times of need.
Cremation has taken place and no services are planned.
