In the words of his wife, "he was an awesome husband cooking, cleaning, he did it all." He loved fishing and spending time with his wife. On September 23, 2024, he passed away at his home.
Mark is survived by his wife, Chevelle Rene Filibeck; two stepsons: Christopher Wayne Dearman and Jonathon Choice Dearman; two stepdaughters: Lisa Marie Cook and Crystal Gayle Tew; six grandchildren: Bella Tew, Malachi Woods, Steve Freeman, Brittany Freeman, Aaron Freeman, and Haley Marie Tew, and one grandchild on the way: Christina Marie Tew.
He is also survived by his brothers: Paul James Filibeck, Gregory Allen Filibeck, Brian Scott Filibeck, and Richard Filibeck, one sister: Cheryl Huber, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister: Kelly Ann Hosey, and a grandson: William Lang Tew.
A viewing period will be held Friday, September 27, 2024 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Turner Funeral Home.
