Born in Louisville to the late Frank and Kitty Koenig, Mark was a graduate of Oldham County High School, class of '71, was a self-employed master plumber, and enjoyed hunting, golf, and his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Lynn Sale.
He is survived by his children, Mark Koenig (Julie), Bryon Keith Koenig, Stephanie Koenig, Brad Koenig, and Amanda Denham (Bryan); his brother, Phillip Koenig; and his grandchildren, Ashlynd, Kenlea Jo, Jacey, Colton, Makenna, Jack, Shane, Max, Autumn, Pauline, Abrial, and Brianna.
Mark's funeral service will be at 12 Noon on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd., with burial to follow in Shiloh Church Cemetery, Skylight, KY. Visitation will be from 3-8 pm Monday at Highlands.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
