Mark exemplified what it means to be a true Knight of Columbus. He was dedicated and truly cared for the needy. I was told that he helped at Hesed House often. As Tootsie Roll (Intellectual Disability - ID)Drive Chairman, I knew that I could count on Mark. Even when his mobility was a challenge and he was very sick, he worked several two hour time slots collecting for the "Special Kids". Mark had a servant's heart. When I had a hard time filling the volunteer shifts, he made phone calls trying to get other guys to fill it. He did whatever he could and pushed himself to do his best. Mark was a true friend and brother. He did come to meetings when he could to be with his brothers and I know that he missed seeing us towards the end. He will be greatly missed. We the Knights of Columbus mourn with you, yet we celebrate his going to be with Jesus.

Mark was such a faithful supporter of the Tootsie Roll Drive every year. I knew I could always count on him as my replacement at the 11 am shift all 3 days of the weekend at Sherwin Williams. He was such a trooper !

Mark and I spent years riding the Pace bus to and from the train station. He was the first to suggest I join the Knights. More recently we'd run into each other working the tootsie roll drive outside of Trader Joe's. Always doing what he was able. He will be missed. Rest in peace brother.

Whenever I saw Mark he always had a smile on his face. He brightened every room he was in, and brightened the mood of everyone in those rooms.
