Mark James Smith Jr., of 909 Hetty Hill Street, went home to be with the Lord on the morning of August 25, 2025.

Born in Gaffney, SC, he was the son of Mark Smith Sr. and Carolyn Posey White. Mark was a 1994 graduate of Gaffney High School and a devoted member of Limestone Missionary Baptist Church. He was the founder and co-owner of Sugardaddyz's LLC.

Mark had a love for cooking and was well known for his delicious burgers, fried fish, fresh-squeezed lemonade, and funnel cakes. He loved his family deeply and was known for being the life of the party.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sons, Malik Smith and Patrick Cunningham; and three daughters, Arzolia Guest, Latoya Jefferies, and Jariya Long. He is also survived by two brothers, Channing Smith and Duran Smith; two sisters, Crystal Smith Price (brother-in-law Brian Price) and Hailee White; nieces, Saxon Owens, Sevannah Price, Chancess Smith, and Bleu Elmore; nephews, Seth Price, Channing Smith Jr., and Oaklun White; and a beloved companion, Tiffany Tuft; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his son, Marek Smith.

Homegoing services will be held at Limestone Missionary Baptist Church on Friday, August 29, 2025, at 2:00 p.m.

The family will receive friends at the home of his sister, Crystal Price, at 111 Hillside Drive, Gaffney, SC 29340, during visiting hours from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
