Marlene (Buhr) Tabatt, age 89, died on November 17, 2024, at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids, Minnesota. Marlene was born in Clara City, Minnesota, the second of three children to parents George and Lena Buhr. Marlene attended Immanuel Lutheran Church in Clara City and was baptized there in September of 1935. She was also confirmed in the same church in April of 1950. Marlene attended a rural one-room schoolhouse and then transferred to the Clara City High School where she graduated in June of 1954.
In 1954, Marlene moved from Clara City to Montevideo. She was employed at the Red Owl supermarket. She married Anthony Neagbour in February of 1955. In 1966, she and her family moved to Mounds View, MN. Marlene worked at the Sears Department Store.
Marlene was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Harold Buhr, and her sister Shirley Buhr. She is survived by two children, Sharon Nelson and James Neagbour, three grandchildren, Jocelyn, Alicia and Michael and several great-grandchildren.
Marlene's funeral services will be held on November 20, 2024, at the grave site at Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery; 12409 50th Street SE, Clara City, Minnesota.
