RAMANA, Marsha Kay (Smith) – of Davison, Michigan, age 75, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2025. Cremation has taken place. A Private Service will be held followed by a public Celebration of Life.
Marsha was born in Flint, Michigan on April 18, 1950, daughter of the late Stephen and Alice (DeView) Smith. She was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, Nana, and dear friend who lived a life full of spreading unconditional love and support to her family, friends and community. Marsha attended Lapeer High School and went on to earn her nursing degree. She worked as a nurse where she then met her husband, Ramana Dindigalla. They married in Lapeer, Michigan on June 23, 1973. Through the years, Marsha enjoyed spending time with her friends, extended family, traveling, theatre and a strawberry margarita at a good restaurant. Above all, she loved being Nana to her grandchildren. Marsha leaves a legacy as a wonderful example of unconditional love and support; empathy; humility; dedication to her beliefs; selfless fighting for her family and loved ones; and creating a warm and caring house or hug for those fortunate enough to know her. She will be missed, but her continued warmth is already felt surrounding her loved ones.
Marsha is survived by her loving husband, Ramana Dindigalla; 4 children, whom she was fiercely and lovingly dedicated to, Anand (Betsy) Ramana, Ravi (Rebecca) Ramana, Leena Ramana and Jyothi (Dale) Ramana; 12 grandchildren, whom she adored, Taya, Alexander, Kira, Elizabeth, Risha, Tessa, Jake, Charlotte, Luke, James, Lexi and Charles; niece, Liz Rawling who held a special place in her heart; many other loving family members and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Stephen and Alice Smith; 4 siblings, Regina, Betsy, Laurie and Robert.
