Marsha E. Searle, 72, of Cuba, IL, died on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at her residence.
She was born on January 20, 1951, in Peoria, IL, the daughter of William Bradley and Vera Sterling. Marsha married Robert E. Searle in Peoria on August 10, 1985. They were married nearly 34 years before his passing in July of 2019.
Marsha was further preceded in death by her parents, brother, Charles Bradley, and sister, Audrey Harris.
She is survived by a sister, Brenda Loving of Peoria, IL, brother, Clarence (Barbara) Sterling of Louisville, KY, and an abundance of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Marsha worked at Caterpillar for many years as a machine operator. She enjoyed spending time with her family and spoiling her nieces, nephews, and her Shih Tzu, Nugget.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 3, 2023, at The Wilton Mortuary in Peoria, IL. The funeral service will be at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at The Wilton Mortuary with a visitation an hour prior. Burial will follow the service at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in West Peoria, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741, or the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284.
