Marshall E. Easling Sr., age 81 of Hornby, New York passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at his residence.
He was born on March 24, 1941 in Montour Falls, New York the son of the late Arthur Easling and Thelma Lilly. He married the love of his life, Irene Brockway on April 20, 1963. He was employed by the Cargill Salt in Watkins Glen for 39 years before his retirement.
Marshall will be remembered for his strong sense of values and principles, something he taught his family.
Marshall is survived by his spouse, Irene Easling; children: Marshall (Mary) Easling Jr., Brian (Kim) Easling; grandchildren: Megan (Joey), Kyle (Kelli), and Jordan (Mike); great-grandchildren: Joslynn, Faith, Teagan, Kelbie, Kacie, and Lane; siblings: William (Shirley) Easling, Gerald (Pat) Easling and Linda (Mark) Howell, along many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Marshall was predeceased by his brother, Arthur Easling and sister, Florence O'Brian.
Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, March 10, 2023 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Carpenter's Funeral Home, 14 E. Pulteney Street, Corning, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Marshall's name may be sent to: Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Blvd, Staten Island, NY 10306.
