Marshall Jerome Faulks, age 84, of Ripon, WI passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 6, 2025 at home, with his loving wife by his side. He was a devoted husband, dad, grandpa and great-grandpa.
Marshall was born in Waupaca, WI on July 23, 1940, son of Jerome and Elaine (Whitney) Faulks. He graduated from Waupaca High School in 1958, and went on to receive an Associate Degree from Northwest Institute of Medical Technology in Minneapolis, MN. Marshall enlisted and served our country in the U.S. Navy from 1961 - 1966, where he worked in the Laboratory at Great Lakes Naval Training Center. After his time in the Navy, he worked at Burlington Clinic for ten years in Burlington, IN, before opening and owning Medical Service Laboratories in Kokomo, IN for three years.
On October 10, 1987, Marshall married Christine Mittelstaedt at Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ripon, WI, where he became a devoted member. He worked at Ripon Medical Center for 33 years, and became active in the community, including being a past president of the Ripon American Legion. Marshall loved bowling and was a bowling coach at Plaza Bowl. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, cooking, traveling, playing golf, listening to music, and was an avid reader. Most of all he cherished time with his family and always looked forward to family gatherings.
Marshall is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Christine Mittelstaedt; three children from his first marriage with Nancy Harris, Jeff (Carolyn) Faulks, Cheryl (Noyce) Strait, and Jacquelyn (Greg) Peterson; a daughter with Christine, Brittnie (Ashley) Faulks; six grandchildren, Zach (Samantha), Justin (Cassie), Alex (Atina), Marshall (Brittany), Abagail (William), and Mason; and five great-grandchildren, Luke, Aiden, Brooklyn, Mark, and Asher. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerome and Elaine Faulks.
Visitation for Marshall will be held from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm on Friday, April 11, 2025 at Mt. Zion Ev. Lutheran Church, 307 Mt. Zion Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.
Memorial service for Marshall will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, April 11, 2025 at Mt. Zion Ev. Lutheran Church in Ripon, with Pastor Michael Sheppard officiating. A final salute and full military honors will take place at the church immediately following the service. A memorial is being established in Marshall’s name.
