Marshall Willis Obituary

He served in the Korean War with the United States Army from 1953 until 1955. Then graduated and earned his Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Ball State University, owned and operated his own accounting firm, Marshall K. Willis Accountancy Corp, CPA's for over 50 years. He also owned and operated Munsee Lanes Bowling Alley for several decades. He was a member of the Lion's Club, Moose Lodge #33, Muncie Eagles #231, American Legion Post #19, DeMolay Legion of Honor, Lambda Chi Alpha, and Delaware County Bowling Hall of Fame. Enjoyed serving as a former President of Delaware County Board of Zoning Appeals, and the Delaware County Plan Commission, and Treasurer of the Delaware County Fairgrounds.
Marshall is survived by his three children, Kimberli (Stephen) Paul, Stan (Paula) Willis, and Kristine (Dean) McDonald; six grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife of 60 years, Ruby Joan Willis. They are now together forever in heaven and are missed every day.
Thank you to the wonderful staff of Yorktown Manor and ViaQuest Hospice in Muncie, they cared for Marshall in his last weeks, and it is truly appreciated by all his children.
Private Services will be held, and Memorial contributions may be made to Animal Rescue Fund (A.R.F.), 1209 W. Riggin Road, Muncie, IN 47303.
