Marta Eisenman, a beacon of strength and kindness, passed away on January 10, 2025, after a lengthy illness. Born on February 7, 1959, in Covington, Kentucky, Marta touched the lives of many through her courageous spirit, compassionate nature, and unwavering intelligence.
Marta was known for her generosity, contagious sense of humor and wisdom, qualities that endeared her to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her brave heart and kind demeanor left a lasting impact on her family and friends, who will remember her not only for her incredible spirit but also for the warmth she brought into their lives.
Marta is survived by her beloved siblings, Vicki Prescott, Trudy Miskell, Rick Garnett, David (Donna) Eisenman and Judy Pohlman. She cherished her nephews and niece, Thomas Thorp, Kevin Thorp, Benjamin Thorp, Martin Kraus and Lauren Duke. Marta also leaves behind six great-nieces and nephews, brother-in-law, William Prescott, who she thought of more as a brother, as well as a host of other family members and friends who will carry her memory in their hearts.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Etta Eisenman (nee Napier), and her father, Martin "Pint" Eisenman. Although her absence will be deeply felt, the legacy of love and compassion that Marta built throughout her life will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to have known her.
A Memorial Service will take place at First Church of Christ - Burlington, 6080 Camp Ernst Road, Burlington, Kentucky, 41005 on Friday, January 24, 2025 at 12:00 pm. A visitation will take place prior to the service from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm.
