Martha Marcoon Obituary
Martha S. Marcoon, 87, of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, passed away on Thursday August 21,2025. Born in Washington DC, Martha spent time living in Long Beach Island, NJ and Easton, MD before moving to Little Egg Harbor in June of 2025. Martha was an avid world traveler, horse owner, and devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her English Setters and was a huge animal lover.
Martha was predeceased by her parents Luther and Margaret Steward, and sister Lydia Ways.
Martha is survived by her loving husband of 62 years Edward Marcoon, sons Stuart, Ken, and Keith Marcoon, and daughter Lydia Marcoon. Also surviving are her 8 beloved grandchildren Luke, Anna, Reese, Tom, Sydney, Jake, Clark, and Dallas, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.
A memorial mass will be held on Tuesday August 26, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Francis of Assisi Parish on Long Beach Island, NJ. A separate memorial service shall be held in Easton, MD at a later date to be determined.
