Marvin Dale Brock

Marvin Dale Brock, age 76, of Trafalgar, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday morning, October 28, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Franklin on June 20, 1949, to the late Loyd and Mary (Rhude) Brock, Marvin was a proud graduate of Brown County High School. He went on to dedicate more than five decades of his life to serving the Brown County School Corporation, owning and operating school buses for 52 years before his retirement.
Marvin will be remembered as a true family man whose greatest joy came from spending time with his loved ones-especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed taking peaceful walks around his property, restoring antique tractors, and, in his younger years, the thrill of drag racing. He also shared a special bond with his faithful Ausie mix, Zipper and his late black lab, Phoebe.
He is survived by his children, Lloyd (Janette) Brock of Odon, Amy Jackson of Trafalgar, and Jennifer (Tim) Thomas of Trafalgar; siblings, Bruce (Bobbi) Brock, Garland Brock and Wanda (Tracey) Riddle all of Nineveh; grandchildren, Danielle Boner, Heather Ford, Amber Greene, Kelsey Bruner, Kenzie Lynch, Baylee Baker, and Braydon Brock; and 12 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him endless pride and happiness.
Marvin was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 57 years, Barbara "Barb" A. (Bowling) Brock, who passed on April 18, 2025. The two were married on July 25, 1967, in Brown County at Fox's Corner. He was also preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Debbie Clark, Martha Napier and Jimmy Brock.
A gathering for family and friends will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home, Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown, followed by a private family graveside service at East Hill Cemetery.
