Mary Carolyn Curry, also known as "Big Red," was born on March 7, 1951, in Louisville, Alabama, to Bennie James Curry and Mary Alice Curry.
Mary graduated from Saginaw High School. After high school, in 1970, she worked at General Motors for over 35 years; after retirement, she relocated to Detroit, Michigan. Mary loved listening to oldies and had a strong love for God. Her biggest joy was sewing and interior design.
Mary leaves to cherish her memory one son; Michael Curry, Saginaw, Michigan, three sisters; Katie Thompson, University Park, Illinois, Lavern Curry, Big Rapids, Michigan, and Peggy Curry, Fort Wayne, Indiana; brothers, Billy Curry, Saginaw, Michigan, and Robert Curry, Miami, Florida; many other relatives and special friends including Pablo Davis, and those at Elder Living Center.
Mary was preceded in death by her father, Bennie James Curry, mother, Mary Alice Curry, and brother, James Edward Curry.
