Mary Meyer

Mary Meyer, nee Fischer, of Jackson died on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at her home at the age of 93 years. She was born November 25, 1930 in Cedarburg to the late Conrad and Cecelia (nee Scheer) Fischer. At an early age, her family moved to Saukville where she attended local schools.
Following her marriage to Roy Meyer on August 13, 1949, the couple settled in the Town of Jackson. Roy predeceased May 11, 2013.
For a short time, she worked as a receptionist and assistant for Dr. James Albrecht. She went on to work at Briggs and Stratton in Wauwatosa, retiring in 1986.
In addition to being a loving wife and devoted mother, she enjoyed sewing, crocheting, knitting, playing the organ and various other crafts.
She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Parish in Slinger, where she also was a part of the Legion of Mary.
Survivors include 4 children: Sandra Sella of Germantown, Beverly of Germantown, Daniel (Bonnie) of West Bend and Dennis (Terri) of West Bend; 3 grandsons Robert, Dennis and Joshua; 6 great-grandchildren Savannah, Spencer, Macey, Ellery, Maclan and Raigen; 1 brother Conrad, Jr. (Sharon) Fischer; a dear friend Cheryl Neu; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 3 sisters Deloris Ladell, Janet Lapp and Donna Totsky.
The family will greet relatives and friends during a period of visitation on Friday, May 10 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Slinger from 11 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1 p.m. with burial following in Washington County Memorial Park, West Bend.
Those who wish may give memorials to St. Peter's Catholic Church, the Washington County Humane Society or Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.
