Mary Sargis 90, was born in Allegan, Michigan and moved to Chicago, Illinois as a young girl where she remained her entire life. Beloved daughter of the late Theodore and Clara Pluska. Dear older sister to the late Theresa Seaberg and Lucille Simpson and to her youngest sister, Phyllis Trotier. Adored wife of the late James Sargis. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. Mary was very close to her family and loved to visit and spend time with them. She was a very generous and loving person who had a strong faith in God and Jesus. Mary was a creative person who had a variety of skills which involved sewing, hat making, crafting, knitting, drawing, painting as well as decorating her home, along with gardening, cooking and baking. An animal lover, Mary had several dogs and birds throughout her life who she loved dearly. Mary brought so much love and joy to our lives! She will be missed deeply by family and friends. We lived across from Mary for decades and I've rarely met such a kind, gentle person. She was generous with our children and she always shared her wonder in life and living. We were lucky to have known Mary.
