Mary Louise Williams of Berryville, Arkansas was born September 21, 1933, in the Cabanal area of Carroll County to Elijah and Minnie Rebecca (Smith) McKinney. Louise passed away at her home surrounded by loved ones on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at the age of 90.
Starting her education at Moore School, attending high school and becoming an Alumni of the School of the Ozarks. After high school she went to Illinois as a nanny. Later traveling to California where she worked at Montgomery Ward and the DMV. There she met her first husband, Robert Williams. They were married from 1953-1955. She then moved to Berryville and married Jessie Pearl Williams in 1959, who passed away in 2001. She worked at the Saunders Museum, Ocoma, and on the farm. Louise was a member of Living Faith Church and enjoyed embroidering, quilting, making baby blankets, baking zucchini and pumpkin bread, and working in her flower garden.
Louise is survived by her son Benny Williams of Berryville, Arkansas, two daughters Beth Anglin and Sonya Marshall both of Berryville, Arkansas, eight grandchildren Cassie Jo, Michelle, Andrea, Chris, Shawn, Chance, Jess, and Sativa, thirteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents Elijah and Minnie McKinney, husband Jessie Pearl Williams, five brothers Rex, Frank, Robert, Hugh, and Carroll McKinney, grandson Casey Williams, great granddaughter Karissa Anglin, daughter-in-law Carolyn Williams, son-in-law Cletus Marshall, and daughter Barb Patty.
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 11, 2024, at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel, with Pastor Doby Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Moore Cemetery.
