Matilde Felipe Obituary
Funeral Service: 12 p.m. Monday, January 6, 2025, in Greenwood's Live Oak Chapel, 3100 White Settlement Rd., Fort Worth, Texas 76107; with a one hour visitation prior to service begining at 11 a.m.
Born March 14, 1927, in Mart, Texas to Reyes Felipe and Paula Contreas Felipe.
She was one of 6 children. A few years later, they moved to Fort Worth. Their father raised them after the death of his wife in 1937, along with the help of the children banding together to raise themselves while their dad went to work to provide for his family.
Matilde was preceded in death by both her parents; brothers, Henry, Johnny, Gabriel and Lupe. She is survived by her sister, Lucy Silva; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Matilde's honor to a charity of your choice.
