Thompson Harveson & Cole Funeral Home & CrematoryTruitt Dixon III (Trey) died too young at the age of 54 on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 surrounded by family. Trey had a work related accident and succumbed to his injuries. He was born July 27, 1971 in Lufkin, Texas. Trey never met a stranger and would do anything for his friends and family. He had a love for cars at a very early age and enjoyed working on them alone and with his son. His passion was NASCAR and drag racing. Trey was always happy to help any and everyone.
Above all, he loved his family.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Martha Vinson Vester, Harold Hallmark, Truitt Dixon and Wilmalene Dixon.
Trey is survived by his mother, Sandra Lou Hallmark Pollard, step-father, David Edward Pollard; father, Truitt Dixon, Jr.; his brother, Rob McCormick; his children, Tyler Atwell Dixon, (Tristan Bowen), Ashlyn Elizabeth Dixon, and Brayden Lee Dixon; and his nephew, Kyle McCormick.
Memorial Service: 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 30, 2025 in the chapel (West Entrance) of Doxology Bible Church, 4805 Arborlawn Dr, Fort Worth, TX 76109.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
