Matthew Scott Perrine, 17, of Lexington, KY was born on his Papaw's 70th birthday on October 30, 2007 and entered heaven on April 26, 2025 at 5:01 pm. Matthew was full of life. He had a smile and laugh that would warm your soul. He loved his family and friends. His love for playing baseball and lifting weights brought him more joy than anything else in life. Matthew also had a love for cool cars, anything Marvel and DC, especially Batman and the Flash, and hanging out with his friends. Friends were a huge part of Matthews life. They loved playing xbox together, making funny faces, playing hide-n-seek, keeping up streaks on social media, eating snacks--especially Goldfish, snack packs of mac-n-cheese, Cheez-It's and drinking Dr. Pepper--and just being together. Matthew was known as the "Snack Man" at school because he would bring snacks in his backpack and sell them to students. He would come home and tell us what he wanted us to purchase and would say, "It's what the people want." Matthew enjoyed dressing up in his favorite black suit and wearing bow ties and wearing his favorite cologne. He loved to dance, even if he was by himself. He loved listening to music and watching Instagram reels. Matthew was a member of the Frederick Douglass High School JV Baseball team and wore the number 28. Matthew is survived by his loving dad, Scott, and mom, Tifany, his older brother Michael, his younger brother Zachary, his devoted grandparents, Mike and Fran Breiner and Delmus Perrine, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his Uncle Bill Perrine and his Mamaw Laura Yvonne Perrine. His smile, laughter, and sense of humor could light up any room. Matthew's absence will be deeply felt by everyone who knew him or who came in contact with him. He will never be forgotten. Forever 17. -- I am with you always - Matthew 28:20.
