Wanda Louise Kidd

Wanda Louise Kidd was born in Campton, KY. Growing up on a farm she learned the lesson of hard work which continued throughout her life. She was a loving mother of her two children, Bruce and Gina. She loved Elvis and gardening, having displayed her yard in the neighborhood garden tour every year. Her passing leaves a very big empty space in her family. She hosted Christmas and Thanksgiving for her family and was a marvelous cook….no one went hungry, and plates were emptied. Her home was always immaculate and beautifully decorated. Wanda could sew anything. She made Gina's school clothes, re-covered chairs and couches, and made curtains. She lived a full, yet difficult life. Wanda taught school for decades and was loved by her co-workers. She taught Gina to read before kindergarten. Wanda will be terribly missed by her family, having left her touch in the lives of her friends and family in the sincerest way. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday, August 22, 2025, at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home-Harrodsburg Road. Visitation will be 10:00-11:00 AM Friday at the funeral home. Entombment will be at Blue Grass Memorial Gardens.
