Melissa's greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her two beloved sons, Todd Christian (Angela) of Smithville, TX, and Kyle Christian of Smithville, TX; her grandchildren, T.J. Christian, Austin Christian, and Madyson Christian ; and seven great-grandchildren, Amari, Aurora, Austin, Layla, Emma, Maverick, and Ryot.
She is also survived by her sisters, Dinah Wenger (Greg) of Jeffersonville, IN, and Patricia Bowling (Danny) of London, KY, and her brother, Zandal Hoskins (Debbie) of Charlestown, IN, along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who will cherish her memory.
Melissa was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose love and kindness touched everyone around her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at E.M. Coots' Sons Funeral Home with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, from 4-8:00 p.m. at E.M. Coots' Sons Funeral Home.
