Michael Thomas Bowen

Michael Thomas Bowen passed away on June 21, 2023. He was born in Royal Oak on July 21, 1972. He was affectionately known to his family and friends as Mike.
Mike grew up in Hazel Park and attended Hazel Park High School, where he graduated in 1991. He was a hardworking man, and while in high school, he started working as a co-op student at ABC Boring in Hazel Park. After the company moved to Warren, he continued working there for 30 years and made many friends. In the evenings, he worked at UPS and made many friends. He was a thoughtful, caring, and compassionate man and was well-liked.
Like his father, Mike was an avid U of M Football fan and enjoyed the games and pageantry that went with the sport. He rarely missed a game. Mike also enjoyed fishing.
Mike leaves many to mourn his passing, including his father and stepmother, Robert and Mary Anne Bowen, his mother Susan Gregor, his daughter Carley McCarver and his adopted daughter, Mariah Fuller. His brother, Kenneth Bowen, will remember Mike with fondness as well.
A visitation will be held for Mike on Thursday, July 6, 2023, from 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Gramer Funeral Home, 705 North Main Street in Clawson. His service will be at this location on Friday, July 7, 2023, at 11:00 AM. For ease of entry into the funeral home, please use the north entrance, under the portico.
