Michael "Mike" Brown, age 84, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2025. Born on December 30, 1940, to Paul and Alice Brown, Mike grew up in Detroit - a place he always held dear.

He attended Visitation Catholic School and proudly carried those values throughout his life. He played football and basketball for Visitation and he competed in the Golden Gloves Championship. He attended University of Detroit and played football his freshman year. One of his favorite places was Molokai Hawaii where he enjoyed swimming and diving which brought him great joy.

A true entrepreneur, Mike successfully built multiple businesses, with his greatest achievement being the founding of Pension Consultants, Inc. His strong Catholic faith guided him in life, and he was deeply involved in organizations such as Legatus, Manresa, and the Knights of the Holy Sepulchre.

Beloved husband of Karen. Loving father of Michael Jr. (Lisa), Christopher (Sharon), Meghan, Rachael Dodson, and Melissa Dodson Nilsen (Daryl). Proud grandfather to Jaydis, Shayla, Bella, Sachi, Nico, Marcus, Samantha, and Amelia. Cherished brother of Paul (Marguerite), the late Catherine Abbott (Pat) and Joanne DeWolfe (the late Clifford). Mike will be deeply missed by many nieces and nephews.

Mike's legacy of faith, family, and entrepreneurship will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Family will receive friends Friday, December 26, 2025, from 2-8pm at A. J. Desmond & Sons Funeral Home, 2600 Crooks Road, (BTWN Maple & Big Beaver Rd.), Troy, 48084, 248-362-2500. Rosary will be prayed at 7:00pm.

Funeral Mass Saturday, December 27, 2025, 10:00am, at Christ Our Light, Catholic Church!, 3077 Glouchester Dr., Troy, 48084. Visitation at Church begins at 9:30am.
