Michael Frank Cholewinski, 46, of North Haven, CT passed away peacefully surrounded by love after a brief illness on Monday, October 7, 2024. Michael was born in Bridgeport, CT on October 30, 1977. Michael lived a full and vibrant life from beginning to end, and touched the lives of many people along the way.
Michael is survived by his parents, Alan & Vera, of North Haven. his sister Julia and husband Jeffrey Pisacreta, and was a special uncle to his nephew Sebastian and niece, Arden of Moorestown, NJ. He is also survived by his soulmate Jennifer D'Errico of North Haven, and leaves behind cherished friends, aunts, uncles and cousins.
After graduating from North Haven High School in 1996, Mike was a heavy machine operator, working for a variety of companies throughout his career. He had a passion for duck hunting and fishing. Mike loved the New York Yankees and traveling, especially to watch his nephew play baseball throughout the U.S. His love for animals, especially his dog Sadie was an example of his kindness and compassion.
Mike's family will receive relatives and friends to celebrate his life on Sunday, October 13th from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven. A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home at 4:00 p.m., the Rev. Scott Morrow officiating. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Michael's memory to, Tunnels to Towers Foundation at T2T.ORG.
