Michael Lewis Haberle Sr.

Michael Haberle, 60, of Louisville, passed away on Wednesday, October 25th, 2023, at home surrounded by all of his loved ones.
He was born August 30, 1963, in Louisville, a son to the late Don Haberle and Darlene Haberle.
He was a graduate of Saint Xavier High School and went on to receive a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Louisville. He began his career designing shipboard security systems for Naval Ordnance Station and went on to be the Executive Vice President and Director of Software Development, developing high end security cameras for InVeo Designs.
Michael is survived by his loving wife of 40 years and high school sweetheart, Kim; his children, Michael (Jessica) Haberle, Tayler (Alex) Reid, and Kristina (Ted) Staton; grandchildren Grey and Max Reid, Riggs and Mila Staton; and sister Leigh (Robert) Maldonado.
Michael was a loving husband, father, and the best Poppy to his four "loves". In addition to his most recent diagnosis of Acute Myeloid Leukemia, he fought a 15-year battle with Multiple Myeloma. He was a real-life superhero to all who knew him. Drawing incredible strength and resiliency from his faith in Jesus, Mike always honored his commitment to his family, friends, and business with grace, joy, and courage. A consummate family man, he relentlessly led by example throughout his battle, always putting his family's needs first.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 1st, 2023 from 2-8 p.m. and Thursday November 2nd from 10 a.m.- 12 p.m., with service immediately following at Ratterman Funeral Home, 12900 Shelbyville Road, Louisville, Ky 40243. Burial to follow at Grove Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville.
