Dr. Michael Joseph Jeansonne

Dr. Michael Joseph Jeansonne, 63, of Beaumont, died Thursday January 22, 2026. He was born on May 15, 1962, in Shreveport, Louisiana to Emily Louise Mayeux and Charles Raymond Jeansonne.

Michael was a man of many passions-an avid skier, a gifted guitarist, and a dedicated endodontist who found deep meaning in his work. He believed strongly in service and participated in multiple missionary dental trips to underserved communities around the world. Michael deeply loved his family and friends and cherished time spent together. His life was marked by generosity, adventure, and a sincere desire to help others. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

Survivors include his siblings, Steve Jeansonne and his wife Brenda, of Keller; David Jeansonne and his wife, Denise, of Leander; Angie Fannin and her husband, Ted, of Village Mills; nieces and nephews, Jennifer Stewart – Richardson and her husband, Edward; Taylor Fannin and his wife, Torie; Justin Fannin, Ryan Jeansonne, and Philip Jeansonne; great nieces, Isla and Avery Stewart – Richardson; and countless friends.

Michael is preceded in death by his parents.

A gathering of Dr. Jeansonne's family and friends will begin 9:00 a.m. with a Rosary recited at 9:45 a.m., Saturday, January 31, 2026, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 5075 Bigner Road, Beaumont. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. His cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard's Crematorium under the direction of Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
