Michael Mello

Michael "Mike" Mello of Falmouth, MA, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family and beloved dogs.
Born in Wareham to Gladys and Herbert Mello, Mike was raised in Falmouth, where he spent most of his life. He began his career in auto body repair before discovering a true passion for carpentry.
Mike cherished time with his family and pursued a wide range of interests, including wood carving, gardening, reading, sunbathing on "his rock," and bike riding. A skilled carpenter, Mike had an extraordinary talent for working with wood-often building alongside his two sons. He was also a multifaceted artist and a lifelong history enthusiast.
Mike is survived by his two sons and their partners: Josh and Kerry of Falmouth, and Nathan and Angelina of Wareham. He also leaves behind two cherished grandchildren, Trinity and Givanni Mello. In addition, he is survived by his siblings: Virginia, Gail, Linda, Deborah, Barbara, Susan, and Robert.
Mike will be remembered for the love he poured into his family and the beauty he created with his gifted hands. He will be deeply missed by so many.
Visitation will be held Friday, June 13, 2025, from 1pm to 4pm at Chapman Funerals and Cremations, 475 Main Street, Falmouth. At the conclusion of the wake, family and friends are welcome to share their stories and memories of Mike.
