Michael P. Moffett

Michael P. Moffett, 59, of Haddonfield NJ and formerly of Merchantville NJ, passed away peacefully on December 19,2024. Born September 9, 1965, Mike grew up in Merchantville, attended St. Peter's Catholic School and Pennsauken High School. Growing up he loved sports -playing baseball,football,wrestling and basketball and loved his dog Bruno.
Mike worked for 38 years as a Pressman most recently he worked 17 years at Park Printing, Pennsauken NJ. He loved landscaping and maintaining a beautiful lawn. He was an avid sports fan especially for the Eagles and Phillies. He was a coach for little league baseball, basketball and football for many years. Despite his busy schedule he always found time each Sunday to listen to Frank Sinatra before heading to the beach in Atlantic City to watch the sunset, listen to rock music on his radio; enjoying a hoagie and cold beer.
He was a strong, hard-working father, proud of his son Joseph and beautiful daughter Sophia and loved his grandchildren who called him "Pop". He also loved his longtime girlfriend, Madeline Kenney for her caring and support.
Mike loved Sea Isle family vacations, was always there to help if someone needed a hand and volunteered at Christ the King, where he especially loved participating in the pancake breakfast. He enjoyed listening to music, especially WMMR. He was an avid fan, and winner of concert tickets, checking his rock concert bucket list along with Madeline. He loved his dog, Pearl, and his cat, Charlotte, who were always by his side.
Mike is survived by his children Joseph (Christina), his daughter Sophia; his girlfriend, Madeline Kenney; his grandchildren, Joseph, and Zayden Moffett; his siblings Stephen (Diane) Moffett, Lorraine Schroth ( the late Richard) and Eileen Craig ( Donald); his many nieces and nephews, Elizabeth (Patrick) Perhosky ( Carter and Asher); Andrea Schroth; Sarah (Luis) Schroth Rodriquez (Luca and Leni); Emma Schroth; Ana Schroth and James (Lauren) Schroth (Nora); Matthew ( Morgan) Craig ( Declan and Jack); Melissa ( Chris) Mangin (Kira); Amanda ( Tim ) Bruckner; and Patrick Craig; his many cousins, friends and neighbors.
Mike was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Angelina Moffett.
He will be sadly missed but will live on in our hearts. His words of wisdom " Be yourself and keep fighting ".
Family and Friends are invited to Michael's visitation on Saturday, December 28, 2024 9:00 AM - 10:45 AM at Inglesby and Sons FH 2426 Cove Road,Pennsauken, NJ. Mass will follow 11:30 AM at St Vincent Pallotti Church, 901 Hopkins Rd A, Haddonfield, NJ.
