Sarah McCreedy Obituary
Sarah enjoyed reading, card games, and spending time with family and friends at the Jersey shore. She will be remembered for her crafting ability and candy making.
Sarah was predeceased by her husband John P McCreedy Jr in 1983, and her siblings Raymond Dillon, William Dillon III, Jack Dillon, and Carolyn Smrkovsky.
She is survived by her daughter, Wendy Mattingly (Michael), grandsons Anthony Garzia Jr (Valeri) and Nicholas Dickinson, step-grandchildren Michael Mattingly Jr (Juanita), Kyle Mattingly (Melody), and Allison Vaughan (Phil). Great-grandchildren, Vienna and Dominic Garzia, Jocelynn, Annalee and Hazel Mattingly, and Levi Vaughan. Siblings Mary Sylvester (Bill), Nancy Mendoza (Ralph DelBuono), Kenny Richmond. Three generations of nieces and nephews. Finally the grand-dog Priya Grace Mattingly.
Services for Sarah will be on Friday, March 8, 2024, at 10:00 am, at Bethel Memorial Park, Cove Road, Pennsauken, NJ. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor her life can donate in Sarah's name to Samaritan Hospice. Memorial gifts may be made online, or mailed to Samaritan's Gift Processing Center - P.O. Box 71425 - Philadelphia, PA 19176-1425.
