Michael Terry Moore Sr., 77, of Canton, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on July 25, 2025. He was born on September 13, 1947, in Massillon to the late Willard and Anna Moore.
Michael was a proud U.S. Army Veteran. He worked for Perry Local Schools as a custodian for many years. Michael and his partner Gloria traveled across the country and enjoyed camping at Atwood Lake.
In addition to his parents, Michael is preceded in death by his daughter, Melissa Moore; brothers, James Moore, Willard Moore and Tom Moore; and sisters, Mary Rager, Maggie Whitcomb, Thelma Moore, and Donna Whitaker.
Left to cherish his memory, is his loving partner of 43 years, Gloria Bowman; sons, Michael (Kristy) Moore Jr., and Jeff Moore; step-children, Jimmy (Renee) Bowman, Terry (Angie) Bowman, Mark Bowman, and Darin (Michelene) Bowman; brother, Robert (Sue) Moore, of Louisville, Kentucky; and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Brookfield Cemetery.
