Michael Olack

Michael Franklin Olack, 56, of Shadyside, Ohio, passed away peacefully on February 21, 2025, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia. Born on January 18, 1969, in Bellaire, Ohio, he dedicated his life to the service of others as a Social Worker for Child Protective Services in the state of West Virginia.
He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Lydia and Ignatz Olack; brothers, John and Charles Olack; sister, Judy Johnson; and honorary father, Robert Stillion.
Michael leaves behind a loving family, including his cherished wife, Christal Olack; sons, Ethan Michael Olack and Alexander Benjamin Olack; brothers, Robert (Bernadette) Olack, Iggy Olack, and Jerry (Linette) Olack; brother-in-law, John Johnson, and sister-in-law, Betty Rose (Russell) Burkhart; brother-in-law Shannon Condottore and honorary mother, Elizabeth Stillion. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Family and friends are to be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home, located at 441 37th Street, Bellaire, Ohio 43906. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at 1:00pm with Father Daniel Heusel as celebrant. Burial to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Bellaire, Ohio.
