Michael A. Pettinato, Sr. age 64, of Erie, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at UPMC-Hamot.
He was born in Erie on September 10, 1959, the son of the late Samuel G. and Jean Lisi Pettinato.
He was employed at Accuride.
He is survived by three children: Michael Jr., Stephanie, and Christopher Pettinato. Also surviving is his companion Terri Balkovic, one brother Alfred Pettinato, one grandson Michael Anthony Pettinato III.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one brother Samual Pettinato and one son Steven Pettinato.
Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Saturday, August 10, 2024 from 4 pm until the time of the Funeral Service at 6 pm. Private inurnment.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.

I was thinking about the times we worked together at Modern.... This was several weeks ago. I was going to try to reach out then but didn´t and now you´re gone. I will miss you my friend and will always have the memories. Rest easy, Mike.
